Be Aromatic Lavender

“Lavandula angustifolia” is a beautiful ornamental plant that attract bees, leading to honey with a very pleasant flavor.
Known for its calming quality, excellent for insomnia, nervous system and headaches, lavender is also used for cough and asthma. Very effective with scarring and relieving insect bites.

The flowers can be used dried or fresh, but in moderation, as they have a very strong aroma, which can become bitter if used in excess. When added to sweet dishes, the flowers must be crushed together with sugar so that their aromatic oils are absorbed. Its strong aroma makes it possible to significantly reduce the amount of sugar when making sweets. It is used to flavor cakes, cookies, ice cream and desserts. It combines very well with lemon and gives a refined touch to creme brulee. It also goes well with savory dishes such as cheese, salads, meats and vinegars.
